Improper posture is cause by a one and only thing: weak muscles (especially back muscles) and whats the best thing to improve that? strength training! for most important to least important exercises (to failure for maximal strength gain): hyperextensions, rows, bent over laterals and shrugs. chiropractors and physios suck! don’t waste your time with them! get a personal trainer and work on the one thing that needs to improve; STRENGTH!

These exercises are a great place to start. Another area to watch is your diet. Taking in lots of water and healthy foods have been found to greatly diminish lower back pain.

i have done this exercise a few times, and i think this is the best of all the exercises i have done for my low back pain. although there is one problem i am experiencing whenever i do it. I get a headache when i get up after doing it. Can you tell me what i am doing wrong, or is that normal?

So that “cobra pose” in yoga is counter-productive? It requires you lift your head and face forward, then upwards.
